Upon casting this spell, you surround yourself with a magical aegis that not only protects but also adapts and transforms. For the duration, you gain resistance to all damage types.

When you are targeted by a harmful spell or effect, the aegis can absorb and transform the energy. You can use your reaction to reduce the damage taken by an amount equal to twice your spellcasting ability modifier (minimum of 1). The absorbed energy is stored within the aegis.

On your turn, you can use a bonus action to release the stored energy, transmuting it into a beneficial effect. You can choose one of the following effects:

• Healing Surge: You regain hit points equal to the stored energy.
• Energy Burst: You release the energy as a burst of raw magic. Each creature of your choice within 10 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes force damage equal to the stored energy on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
• Metamorphic Enhancement: You channel the energy into physical enhancements. For one minute, you gain a bonus to your Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution score (your choice) equal to half the stored energy (rounded down, minimum of 1).

This spell combines the protective power of Abjuration magic with the altering capabilities of Transmutation magic, providing both defense and adaptability in combat situations.
