Arcane Tracer

When you cast this spell, a tiny sigil appears between the shoulder blades of the target.  While active, the caster always knows the direction that the target is.  This does not give any information regarding distance.              

The spell ends when this spell is cast again, or when the target leaves the plane of existence. Casting remove curse or dispel can remove the spell.

When casting at higher spell slots this spell will add effects:

2nd level--Knows distance from self when within 1000 ft. of the target

3rd level--Knows distance from self when within 1 mile of the target, can make a line of energy visible only to the caster and who he chooses to see the line appear connecting the caster and the target.
