When you cast this spell, you touch a chicken egg and a tiny item. The item is absorbed into the egg, which is then sealed by magic. The egg becomes indestructible and immune to all forms of damage. The item within the egg is suspended in time - it does not age, nor is it affected by any temporal effects.

The spell ends when a command word is spoken by you or when the dispel magic spell is cast on the egg. When the spell ends, the egg opens to reveal the item in the same condition as when it was absorbed.

The “Egg of Ages” spell can be used in various ways in your campaign:

• Hidden Treasure: The players could find an Egg of Ages as part of a treasure hoard, and must figure out how to open it.
• Quest Item: A powerful wizard could send the players on a quest to retrieve an item that he has stored in an Egg of Ages.
• Time Capsule: The players could use an Egg of Ages to store an important item that they want to protect from the ravages of time.
