You cover the weapon used in the spell's casting with an aura of ghastly horrors, and make a melee attack with it against one creature within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects and then has its blood siphoned to protect your allies in a magical retaliation. Choose a number of creatures you see up to your proficiency bonus, they gain thp equal to half of the attack's total damage.
