This spell creates an undead servant from a pile of bones of a Medium or Small humanoid that you touch. Your spell imbues the target with a foul mimicry of life, raising it as skeleton.

The skeleton can’t attack. It knows the direction and distance to the object you described at the time of casting, as long as that object is within 500 feet of it. If the object is in motion, the servant knows the direction of its movement.

The servant can use its action to try to retrieve an object it can see within 5 feet of it. It can do this by any means necessary, and will stop at nothing to retrieve the object and bring it back to you.

Once the servant has returned the object to you or if the spell ends, the servant collapses into dust and can’t be reanimated again.
