You whisper a series of complex arcane formulae, details, numbers, and statistical data about math and magic, including, but not up to, the millionth digit of pi, that only one creature of your choice within range can hear. The target must make an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, it takes psychic damage equal to 1d4 + your Intelligence Modifier and must immediately use its reaction, if available, to move as much as its speed allows toward you. The creature doesn’t move into obviously dangerous ground, such as a fire or a pit.

If it makes it within 5ft. of you, or if the creature starts already 5ft. of you, it must make a single melee attack with advantage against you as part of the reaction. On a hit, this attack deals critical damage and renders you unable to cast spells with a verbal component until the end of your next turn.

If the creature cannot move, is otherwise incapable of reaching you, or misses the reactionary attack, it is profoundly irritated. It cannot cast spells requiring concentration, loses concentration on any spells it has cast, and has disadvantage on all attack rolls against targets other than you until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, the target takes no damage and is otherwise unaffected. A creature with an Intelligence score of 7 or less isn’t affected and a deafened creature automatically succeeds on the save.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.
