You call forth an elemental animated liquid. Choose an area of water, lava, or acid that fills a cube within range of a size corresponding to the size you choose for the animated liquid: a small creature requires a 2-foot cube, a medium creature requires a 5-foot cube, and a large creature requires a 10-foot cube. The area transforms into an elemental appropriate to the fluid you chose. The elemental ceases to be animated and transforms into an equivalent volume of fluid when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends. When you cast this spell, you can animate four small creatures, two medium creatures, or one large creature.
The animated liquid can take on different forms depending on its size, as shown in the table below. Whenever a creature is forced to make a saving throw by an animated liquid, they do so against your spell save DC.

The space occupied by the animated liquid cannot be moved through by hostile creatures.
When you cast this spell using a 7th-level spell slot, you can animate one Huge creature using a 15-foot cube. When you cast it using a 9th-level spell slot, you can animate one Gargantuan creature using a 20-foot cube.
