The user conjures a large quantity of silver sand from their position in a radius of 40 ft. centered on the caster. The sand seems to coalesce freely over solid surfaces and gently flows and shifts on its own with small wisps of sand being picked within the area, hanging in the air as light dust. Unholy creatures that enter the area have their speeds reduced by half, and automatically alert the caster of their presence even if asleep. Additionally, the caster can designate one other type of creature (Beast, Monstrosity, Aberration, Celestial, Fey, or Fiend) to trigger the sands and hamper the designated creature. Incorporeal creatures are also detected and have reduced speed as silver dust collects around their form. Flying creatures are detected as well, though may not be impeded. Any intruder entering the area alerts the caster regardless of the creature type.
Once a designated creature or undead enter the area, the user can trigger the sands to ignite in a flash of extremely bright light, causing the target to make a Con save (dc 18) and take 3 d8 radiant damage and be stunned for a turn and blinded for three on a fail, or take half that and be blinded for two turns. Undead and creatures weak to sunlight automatically are stunned for one turn, and are stunned for a second turn if they fail the save.
