A willing creature within range becomes enveloped in a thin veil of wind. The aegis acts as a defensive ward for the duration. So long as the spell remains active the affected creature has resistance to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, as well as advantage on Strength and Dexterity saving throws. Whenever the affected creature takes any damage other than psychic damage, the aegis takes the same amount of damage. The aegis has 30 hit points. The spell ends early if the aegis' hit points are reduced to 0.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the aegis' hit points increases by 15 for each slot level above 4th.
