You unleash a torrent of searing flames upon a single living creature within range. The target is set ablaze, its flesh burning away in a gruesome display. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 12d12 fire damage at the start of each of its turns while the target is still burning. On a successful save, the target takes half damage.

Additionally, any living creatures standing within 10 feet of the target must also make a Dexterity saving throw at the start of their turn or take 6d12 fire damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful one.

Dousing Attempt: If someone attempts to douse the flames with water or sand, a 20-foot-radius cloud of burning vapor surrounds the target, dealing 8d12 fire damage to anyone within the cloud. Complete immersion of the target under huge amounts of sand or water can greatly reduce the burning vapor but does not douse the flames. The flames ignited by "Conflagration" can be stopped by casting a spell of 5th level or higher, such as Greater Restoration, Dispel Magic, or Wish, specifically targeting the burning effect. When any of these spells are successfully cast on the burning target, the flames are extinguished, and the damage from the spell immediately ends

Magic Item Destruction: The intense heat generated by "Conflagration" can affect magic items carried or worn by the target. At the end of each of the target's turns, any magic items it possesses must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a magic item is subjected to the spell's fiery onslaught and takes 6d12 fire damage, potentially causing it to melt or become damaged.

- Common and uncommon magic items have disadvantage on this saving throw.
- Rare and very rare magic items have a standard saving throw.
- Legendary magic items have advantage on this saving throw.

If a magic item fails the saving throw and its hit points are reduced to 0, it is destroyed or rendered non-magical, as determined by the DM.

Undead Servant: Once killed by the flames, the target rises as an undead servant under your command. The undead servant is obedient and serves you eternally, but you are unable to cast other spells while still controlling it with this spell.
