Chimera Maw

You channel a power from beyond to transform your head into that of a Fiery Chimera. Make a melee spell attack against a creature within reach. On a hit, the target takes 4d8 fire damage and 4d8 piercing damage and is grappled.

Waxen Flame Grasp:

• If the melee attack hits, the target is momentarily engulfed by the Fiery chimera's flames, taking an additional 1d8 fire damage at the start of each of its turns until it escapes the grasp. The grapple ends if the target succeeds on a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC.

Chimera's Fury (Recharge 5-6):

• As a bonus action, you can unleash a burst of fire in a 10-foot radius centered on the grappled creature. The affected creature must make a Dexterity saving throw or take an additional 4d8 fire damage.

At Higher Levels: When cast using a 5th-level spell slot or higher, the initial fire and piercing damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 4th.
