Damage/Effect
You use the foulest necromancy to blaspheme against the natural order and bring back a humanoid from the dead with an unholy incantation. The target must have been dead less than 1 hour and can be an undead. You touch the corpse, which then reanimates as a shattered sliver of its soul returns. The creature changes in the following ways;
- Their creature type becomes Undead.
- They gain Expertise in Intimidation checks, as their words reveal their horrid existence.
- They gain immunity to necrotic and poison damage and, when subjected to an effect that deals necrotic or poison damage, they instead reduce the damage to zero and regain hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt.
- They no longer require food, drink, air, or sleep.
- When damage would reduce them to 0 hit points, they can use their reaction to instead drop to 1 hit point. They can use this feature a number of times equal to your spellcasting ability modifier every long rest.
- They gain temporary hit points equal to twice your level after every long rest.
- They gain advantage on attack rolls against all creatures besides Undead or Constructs.
They remain animate for the full duration of the spell, during which they slowly rot. At the end of the duration, they die and no spell of 8th level or lower can resurrect them.
* - (One of the target's bones and a crystal vial of blood worth at least 1500 GP)
