A piece of chalk comes out from your inventory and zips away fast enough to cast on fire, becoming capable of creating trails of fire. The chalk draws out a streak of trailing fire that connects to 4 points, including where the chalk landed in front of you. Walking into the fire deals 2d8 fire damage. Each point extends the fire trail by 5 feet and can be placed in any path the user decides to be in the previous point's perimeter.
The piece of chalk withers away into the air after a complete trail of fire is created.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell with a spell slot of 6th level or higher, it increases the number of points in the trail that can be placed for each other two slot levels above 5th (5>7>9).
