Circle Thief

A ritual which allows a caster to surpass their limitations and cast a spell of a higher level or different spellcasting tradition.  If you have a spell scroll you cannot cast either because it is too high level or from another spellcasting tradition then you may use this ritual. You construct ornate spell circles in chalk for each level of the spell in question. Within each layer of the circle a shard of crystsl is placed to channel and focus magic. Upon completion of the ritual you immeadiately cast the spell at the lowest possible level following all the normal rules of that spell. Once used in this way the scroll is consumed, as is the chalk.
