You can create a magical simulation of events that happened at your current location. The simulation lasts for 10 minutes and extends to fill out a 100-foot cube. You can move the displayed area as a bonus action.
The simulation conveys visual and auditory information projected over the environment as they replay events which took place there. Semi-transparent images of those involved with the events walk about as they did in life and sounds are repeated as clearly as they once did long ago. You cannot interfere with anything happening in the simulation but can walk through it to get closer or see things from different angles. You can pause, rewind, or fast forward the playback at will. You may skip to different points in time as long as they occurred in the same location.
Events that happened longer than a thousand years prior may come back muddled and distorted. However, if you have an item or creature which was present at a specific event you wish to view, then you may recall any specific events of your choice that the object or creature was present for there.
