You create a wave of rapidly freezing water for you to skate along in a line 5 feet wide and 30 feet long. When you perform this technique, you can choose to ride the wave, moving yourself to any unoccupied space in the spell's area without provoking opportunity attacks. Each creature in the spell's area must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed saving throw, the creature suffers 2d8 cold damage and is knocked prone. On a successful saving throw, the creature suffers half as much damage and is not knocked prone. The shards leave a wake of ice in their path, causing the ground in the area to become difficult terrain until the start of your next turn.
