The caster extracts the vital energy from a recently dead body and bottles it up into 5 small vials.
These vials can be ingested as an action by any creature. When ingested each of these vials can heal up to 1d6 + your spellcasting ability modifier hitpoints
If the creature whose vital energy is extracted is unconscious intead of dead , the vials can instead heal up to 2d6 + your spellcasting ability modifier hitpoints instead.
The recently dead body or the unconscious creature is consumed when the spell is finished. However if the creature is unconscious and this spell is preformed upon it, the caster obtains the experience it would have obtained if it had killed it +10XP (at the DMs discretion) due to having learnt about the creatures physiology.
If the spell is done to a creature of size Large/Huge/Gargantuan/collosal 1/2/4/8 extra vials are collected from it. Converselly if the spell is preformed on a creature of size Small/tiny/diminutive/fine 1/2/3/4 vials less are collected from it.
This spell can also be done on a unconscious or restrained creature as a form of torture, although no vials will be obtained from doing so ( If it survives)
After 3 days the effect of the vials dissipates
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the amount of hit points each vial can regenerate is increased by 1d6/1d6+1 for each slot level above 2nd, for the dead/unconciuss version repectively.
