You can use an unnatural amount of your arcane to wither those around you to nothing.
When you cast this spell, you can use as many spell slots as you wish. Add the total of those spell slots together to determine the number of damage dice rolled. The damage for this spell is 2d6 + {1d8 for each spell slot used} (i.e. if you use 1 third level spell slot and 2 first level spell slots, the spell would do 2d6 + 5d8)
The target must make a constitution saving throw, taking half damage on a success. On a failure, the creature begins to wither if they have not already been reduced to zero hp. They take 2d4 necrotic damage at the beginning of each turn
