Bludgeoning
Your hand begins to glow green, and a otherworldly power fills your being as you swing a punch into the maw of an enemy with ethereal force. Make a melee spell attack. On a hit, it deals 4d8 bludgeoning damage. To undead, it deals 6d8. To vampires, it deals 9d8 and the vampire has to make a CON saving throw against your spellsave DC + 3. On a successful save, nothing happens. On a failed save, the vampire has to make a Constitution saving throw at the end of every turn. If it fails, it cannot regenerate next turn. If it succeeds, the effect ends.
* - (A Holy Symbol, A Clove of Garlic worth 10gp that is consumed upon casting. )
I like it. But garlic worth of 10 gold! Ether it's one fancy garlic or someone has to roll allot of con saves in the bushes.
- why enchantment spell?
- bludgeoning damage Is not good idea because some undead have resistance etc.
- CON save at +3 Is not dnd friendly just use disadvantige
- Spell should have duration to see how long the target can keep on failing.
- material component is really strange, garlic have nothing to do with vampires :D
+ good anti-undead spell that can really have impact on battlefield
+ Vampires bane indeed
Upvote :)
I think it should be bludgeoning+radiant by the description.
I like the damage, but I hope my spell caster would not be close enough to a vampire (or any enemy!) to be making a melee attack. If I were going to use a 4th level spell, I'd be Dimension Door'ing the heck out of there!
can any of you guys check out my spells
Ok :) I hope I will not hurt your feelings
I agree the save should simply be made at disadvantage, not +3. I disagree about the duration because on a success the effect ends, though I do not know much about spells. I also agree that it should not be radiant damage, maybe change it to something that undead aren't often strong against. Yes the meterial component is strange, and also I agree it should not be an enchantment spell. I also agree with the +'s though.
Also I will look at your spells.
Only the most EXQUISITE of garlic is allowed at this DnD table!!!
bro pov you multi class paladin and monk and your atacking vampire
Hate to break it to u
But your spells suck only 1 line of incredibly vague writing and thn normally a one shot
