At level 2-4 you will be able to do one blast that will cost you one action. It will do 1d10 necrotic damage.

At Higher Levels

The spell creates more than one beam when you reach higher levels:

5th Level

Two beams are created, and you can direct them at the same target or different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each beam. Each beam deals 1d10 necrotic damage.

11th Level

Three beams are created, and you can direct them at the same target or different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each beam. Each beam deals 1d10 necrotic damage.

17th Level

Four beams are created, and you can direct them at the same target or different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each beam. Each beam deals 1d10 necrotic or damage.
