Requires a ceiling height of at least 60ft
Black rays of light roar down from the heavens in a 60-foot radius centered on a point you choose within range. Each creature in that light must make a Constitution saving throw (blinded) or a Wisdom saving throw (frightened). On a failed save, a creature takes 7d6 radiant damage and 7d6 necrotic damage. The caster can choose either blinded or frightened to be inflicted onto all creatures in the spell's range for 1 minute. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage and doesn't suffer the condition inflicted by this spell. Undead and Celestials have disadvantage on this saving throw.
A creature suffering from a condition inflicted by this spell makes another Constitution saving throw (blinded) or a Wisdom saving throw (frightened) at the end of each of its turns. On a successful save, it is no longer suffers the condition.
When cast at higher levels both status conditions are inflicted if both saving throws are failed.
