Alasar's Auspicious Fate

A protective barrier infuses into the target's mind, fortifying their resolve and protecting them from going unconscious for a short period of time.

During the spell's duration, the first time the target would go unconscious from being reduced to zero hitpoints the spell's protective magic triggers and does the following:

• Target does not go unconscious even though their hitpoints are at zero.
• Target may immediately move up to half their movement without triggering any attacks of opportunity. 
• Any damage the target takes while still at zero makes them go unconscious as normal.
• If the target is still at zero hitpoints at the end of their next turn they fall unconscious as normal. 

Casting this spell on an additional target cancels any previous castings of it.
