A 120 foot long red and purple beam springs from your outstretched fingers and palm in any direction you choose with your hand.
Any creature hit by the beam must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 10d10 + 60 fire damage or half that much on a successful saving throw. Any creature or object other than you within a 10 foot diameter cylinder around the beam but not directly hit by the beam must also make a DC 15 dexterity saving throw or take 5d10 + 30 fire damage, or 30 fire damage on a successful saving throw. Damage dealt by this spell ignores resistance and immunity to fire damage. Anything hit by this spell is disintegrated if this damage leaves it with 0 hit points. The beam automatically burns through any nonmagical wall in its path that is 1 foot thick or thinner and not made of a magically indestructible material. After the beam disintegrates or goes through an object, wall, magical effect, or creature, it continues until it is stopped by an object, wall, or creature, or until it reaches its maximum range.
A disintegrated creature and everything it is wearing and carrying, except magic items, are reduced to a pile of ashes. The creature can be restored to life only by means of a true resurrection or a wish spell.
This spell automatically destroys a Large or smaller nonmagical object or a creation of magical force. If the object is a Huge or larger object or creation of force, this spell disintegrates a 5-foot wide hole through it until the maximum length of the beam is reached. A magic or otherwise indestructible item is unaffected by this spell.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 9th level, the damage increases by 5d6 and ignores resistance and immunity to magic.
