A man is most safe in his own mind. Willfred used this spell to block himself from all outside impressions.

Touching the top of the head of a willing or incapacitated creature with two fingers and sliding them slowly in opposite directions and letting go can invoke Willfreds Mental Fortress. The creatures head will feel to be enveloped in a swirling cloth, soothing, muting, blinding and deafening them. Under the duration the creature will not be able to see nor hear or communicate verbally, but still having full control of their body in terms of movement.

Historically Willfreds spell has been used by a few for its intended purpose, blocking oneself from the outside world to engage in a meditative state. But unfortunately the more popular usage is for rogues, kidnappers and other scoundrels due to it's ease of use and high utility. What they often forget however is the somewhat short duration of the spell.
