You target a weapon that you can see, and when you cast this spell, you attempt to magically fill it with a sense of malice against its wielder.
The next time the weapon is used to make an attack, the weapon warps, striking or shooting its ammunition against its wielder. No attack roll is made, and the attack automatically hits. While damage resistances and immunity still apply, the attacker cannot willingly attempt to reduce the damage or declare a non lethal attack.
If the weapon is magical and is being wielding when the spell is cast, the wielder may make a Wisdom saving throw to resist the effect. The user gains a +10 to this saving throw if the weapon is sentient.
The spell ends when the attack is made (whether or not it's successful), or you choose to dispel it as an action.
At Higher Levels. For every two levels above first, an additional attack is redirected at the weapon's wielder.
