You channel the dark energy of the Null (the Negative Energy plane in the Florenic Worlds setting) as you draw vitality from the living. Choose up to four living targets within 30 feet of you to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed saved, the creature takes 4d6 necrotic damage, or half as much on a success. Regardless of a pass or failed save, you gain temporary hit points equal to half the highest damage dealt among those targeted.

Undead take only half damage from this spell.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
