Chill Shield

You call forth a wavering field of icy mist around your body, shedding dim light in a 10-foot radius. You have resistance to fire damage and can dismiss the spell with an action.

Whenever a creature within 5 feet hits you with a melee attack, the shield bursts with frost. The attacker takes 2d8 cold damage as biting ice forms briefly on its armor and skin.
