A shining beam of radiance blazes forth from the caster's hand in a cone extending 30', and continues radiating from the hand for 5 rounds, or until the caster dispels the effect. Any hidden, concealed, ethereal, astral, or invisible creature touched by the beam is surrounded in a glowing outline for 1d4 rounds, rendering them visible until the effect ends. No saving throw is permitted, but creatures resistant to magic are unaffected by the spell.
While the Golden Revelation is in effect, the caster cannot hide or otherwise conceal themselves by natural or magical means.
Adapted from a spell reportedly created by the mysterious illusionist Nystul. The original spell no longer functions as described, and references a school of magic unknown to modern scholars. Attempts to scribe Nystul's Golden Revelation invariably fail but this version, adapted by Arketon the Boundless, retains most of the behavior as it is described in legend.
