Aquan Sorcery: Water Lance

An elemental sorcery of the Aquan Court.

You launch a watery lance at a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against that creature. On a hit, you deal 3d6 piercing damage plus 2d6 acid damage to that creature, and the acidic water splatters upon impact, making creatures within 5 ft of the target take 1d4 acid damage. In addition, for the duration or until it/another creature uses an action to wipe the acid off, the target takes 1d4 acid damage at the start of each of its turns.
