You attempt to amplify a creature in the process of casting a spell. If the creature uses a spell of 3rd level or lower you may choose from the effects below. If the creature is using a spell of 4th level or higher than make an ability check with your spellcasting ability. The DC is 10 + the spells level. If successfully done choose one of these effects.

Enhance. The spell does a critical hit. This also works with healing spells in the same way.

Suppressor. If the spell would need verbal components it doesn't now, also makes the spell silent so a fireball doesn't alert the whole fortress though any destruction it causes is still visible.

Hasten. If the spell would take 1 action it now takes a bonus action this also applies to other casting times 10 minutes becomes 1 and vice versa

Configure. Change the damage type of a spell to a different type. This works with spells that have two such as Meteor swarm, you can change both individually or make them the same.

Stretch. The spells range is doubled. Self spells become touch and touch spells become ranged with a range of 20 + Spellcasting modifier of the ampcaster or the original caster.

Copycat. Duplicates the spell. The duplicated spell can target someone else other than the original target or hit the same target.

Inspire. The target of the spell has disadvantage on the saving throw required if there is one required.

Spinback. The spellcaster may reroll their damage dice and choose the outcome they like more.

Pierce. The effect caused by the spell can ignore resistance or if immune act as if resisted.

Shield. You may choose to protect specific creatures within the radius of the spell.

Seek. A spell that normally goes in a straight line can now travel around obstacles.

For DM Leisure. If two spellcasters have this spell and wish to use this spell on the same spellcaster. Roll a d100 on the Wild Magic Surge Table, what it lands on affects the original spellcaster. A spellcaster with this spell can not cast this on themselves while casting another spell. Spells cast from a magic item can not be amped

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the amped spell uses one of these effects if its level is less than or equal to the level of the spell slot you used.

* - which you take when you see a creature within 60 feet of you casting a spell
