Arcane Serpent

You call forth a 15-foot long Arcane Serpent from the center of your hand, commanding it to strike a target in front of you, biting it with its sharp fangs. This serpent can travel up to 60 feet in any given direction by flying, and deals 1d8 magic piercing damage to anything it bites and is strong enough to pierce even stone. 

The number of snakes this spell creates increases when you reach 5th level (three snakes), 8th level (five snakes) and 11th level (eight snakes). The snakes can target any number of targets within range.  

Note: One material component is required for each head casted, however it is never consumed for this spell.
