At levels 1 through 4, a cast iron skillet (melee weapon) is formed in 1 hand with which you are proficient. The size of the skillet is 3 times larger (in inches) than the spell slot used plus a reasonable 1-handed handle length. At levels 5 through 8, a cast iron pan (melee weapon) is formed in 1 hand with which you are proficient with but requires 2 hands to wield. The size of the pan is 5 times larger (in inches) than the spell slot used. At level 9, a cast iron pan (melee weapon) is formed in 1 hand with which you are proficient with but requires 2 hands to wield. In addition it adds +2 to your Armor Class as the pan is a solid 72" plus 2 side handles similar to a Cantonese wok. You can also cook with the cast iron at any level so long as the heating element is not lava (or hotter).
At 1st level the skillet/pan deals 1d6 Bludgeoning Damage + 1d6 for every level up to 4th + 1d8 for each level from 5 through 8 + 1d10 at 9th level
For reference: 1st level = 1d6 | 5th level = 4d6 + 1d8 | 9th level = 4d6 + 4d8 + 1d10
The spell lasts up to 1 hour so long as concentration isn't broken, or the skillet/pan has been dropped or thrown for longer than 1 round.
