If the target can hear you (though it need not understand you), it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or take 1d8 psychic damage. On a fail, their hearing is temporarily damaged due to the noise and they have disadvantage on attack rolls it makes until the end of your next turn.
At Higher Levels. This spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
