The user siphons the soul of a living subject draining 4d4 hit-points. Two beams of blinding energy shoot toward 1 or 2 creatures within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target/s. On a hit, the target takes 3d6 radiant damage per beam.
The damage increases to 5d6 per beam at 14th level. At 16th level, the user may prolong the beams dealing an additional 2d6 damage per beam(7d6 per beam) without incurring another attack roll, but takes an additional 3d6 necrotic damage each turn the beam is prolonged. Enemies caught in the beam have their movement speed reduced by 5 feet. If the user falls below half of their total hit-points or is attacked while prolonging the beam, they fall prone.
The user cannot siphon any additional soul when prolonging the beams.
Make a separate attack roll for each beam.
