Chaos Blades

The user summons a sword of chaotic magical energy and shoots it towards the target. Roll a d8 to decide the type of damage. 1-8 will have the following damage types in the following order: 1 is acid, 2 is fire, 3 is cold, 4 is lightning, 5 is necrotic, 6 is psychic, 7 is radiant, 8 is thunder. For every level this spell is cast at that is higher than a 1st level spell, that many more blades are summoned. They all have the same damage type. Each blade can have a different target or all be shot at one target. The damage for each blade is 1d8. This never changes at higher levels. Only 8 blades can be summoned at one time. On a failed save, the target(s) get hit with all of the blades shot at them. On a successful save, the target(s) get hit with half of the blades shot at them rounded down.
