Astromancy

By carefully noting the location of various celestial bodies in the night sky, you are able to ascertain knowledge about the surface world.  You must have an unobstructed view of the night sky for at least ten minutes during the casting time to gather the necessary measurements. 

When your calculations are complete, you know all of the following:

• The direction of north.
• The current date.
• Whether a specific action you plan to undertake is likely to have a positive or negative outcome.  Alternatively, you may choose to receive a short, enigmatic clue regarding what to expect if a specified action is undertaken.

Instruct a creature within range who can hear you (other than yourself) to roll a d20 and record the number rolled.  They can choose to replace any single attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by themselves or a creature that they can see with the result of that roll. They must choose to do so before the roll. When they finish a long rest any unused roll is lost.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you can target two additional creatures for each slot level above 2nd.
