When this spell is cast, a globe of impenetrable darkness is created. Dark Vision or Devil Sight are useless. Neither normal nor magical light will work unless an Ancient Continual Light spell is used. In the former event, the Ancient Continual Darkness spell is negated by the Ancient Continual Light spell and vice versa.
