Amplify Spell

You attempt to enhance the power of a spell being cast by a creature. If the creature is willing or fails a Charisma saving throw, the spell being cast acts as if it were cast by a spell slot one level higher than the original slot used. If you cast this spell on a 9th level spell, the spell fails and the spell slot is wasted.

At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a spell slot higher than the targeted spell, the spell acts as if it were cast by that spell slot. For example, if this spell was cast at 3rd level on a 1st level Cure wounds, theCure wounds would act like it was cast at 3rd level.
