Arrow of Lightning

By holding a length of metal no longer than 12 inches in the middle and charging it with Lightning magic, a Bow of Lightning is formed. When the bow sting is pulled back an Arrow of Lightning is formed and transforms into a Bolt of Lightning when loosed. The target takes 2D8 lightning damage on a hit, each creature within 10 ft of the target must make a Dexterity saving throw. Each of these creatures takes 2D6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1D8 and the effect increases by 1D6 for each slot level above 1st.
