You conjure a cauldron filled with vile and volatile reagents, bubbling and boiling with a bright green glow. As you stir the cauldron, it expands to cover the ground within range around you, dissolving into a pool of bubbling acid. This area is treated as difficult terrain. While the spell is active, any creature other than you that starts its turn within the area or enters it on their turn must make a DEX saving throw. On a failure, they are immediately pulled in 15 ft and suffer 4D8 Acid Damage. On a Success, they take half damage and are not pulled in. Each time a creature fails their DEX saving throw, the damage of this spell increases by 1D8 Acid damage.
While you are concentrating on the spell, your movement is reduced to 0, and you resist all Non-Magical damage and are immune to acid and poison damage. If you would lose concentration on this spell, you can instead choose to return the damage to 4D8 Acid damage. The damage must have increased at least once to do so.
At Higher Levels: For each spell level over 6th this spell is cast, its range increases by 5 ft and the initial damage is increased by 1D8 Acid Damage.
