You start to heat your body to a temperature that scorches the earth around you in a 30-foot radius. When you cast the spell, choose any number of creatures in range to make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, a creature becomes frightened of you for the duration. A creature must also make the saving throw when you deal damage to it, or when dealt fire damage from any source while in range.
If a creature fails the saving throw while already frightened of you, it takes 1d10 fire damage and must use its reaction to move its speed directly away from you as far as possible.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, creatures who fail the saving throw take 1d10 fire damage for each slot level above 3rd.
