You conjure a manifestation of purple substance in one of three forms: liquid, gelatinous, or powder. Choose one effect when you cast the spell:
-
Liquid: 2 gallons of purple liquid materialize in a 5-foot cube within 30 feet above the targeted area. The liquid splashes downward, affecting the area below it.
-
Gelatinous: Purple gelatin starts forming on the ground in a 5-foot square within range. It rises gradually and solidifies into a gelatinous cube, encapsulating anything in its path. After 1 round, the gelatinous cube turns into a liquid state.
-
Powder: A 5-foot square of fine purple powder descends from above within range. Creatures within the square must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 1d4 poison damage. Additionally, a creature affected in the eyes is blinded until the end of its next turn.
At Higher Levels: The damage from the powder effect increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
