Bludgeoning Horror

You summon a large number of tentacles and slugs from your palm to strike a creature within range. Make a melee spell attack against the target. On a hit, it takes 3d8 bludgeoning damage. If you score a critical hit, the target is also stunned until the start of your next turn. 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 and range increases by 5 feet for each slot level above 2nd.
