You exert your will on a creature that you see within range by speaking the Words of Authority, possibly making them obedient, as long as you keep them in line. The targeted creature must succeed on a Charisma saving throw against a creature specific DC or become Bound to you. The DC is determined by the following formula: DC = your Spell Save DC - creature's CR. In case of non-integer CR (eg. 1/4, 1/2) it is considered 0 for the sake of calculating the DC.
Creatures Bound to you must follow all your command to the best of their abilities. Each time a command is given, the creature may try to break free from the bind by retrying the saving throw. Commands that would directly harm Bound creatures give them advantage on the retry.
At Higher Levels: For each spell slot expanded above 3rd level, you may choose to either target two more creatures or decrease the value of their CR by half of your Spell Casting modifier (minimum of 1) for the purposes of calculating the DC.
