Caroline's Erroneous Defense

You touch a willing creature and a small glass-like shield floats directly above their head. For the duration of the spell, the shield will move to intercept attacks, giving the target a +3 to their AC. When the target is hit by an attack, the shield shatters and the spell ends.

At Higher Levels. When cast at 3rd level, the target can receive two attacks before the spell ends, instead of one. At 5th level, three attacks are blocked.
