Astral Communion

ou project your consciousness onto the Astral Plane, leaving your physical body behind but maintaining a telepathic connection with it. While in this state, your spirit can move through the Astral Plane unhindered by physical barriers and perceive your surroundings as if you were there physically.

While in your astral form, you gain the following benefits:

• You have a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
• You can see and hear the Ethereal Plane and creatures there as if they were in the same location as you.
• You can attempt to telepathically communicate with any creature you can see within 120 feet of your astral form. The creature must understand at least one language for you to communicate with it telepathically.
• You can use your action to project a visible, ghostly image of yourself to any creature you are communicating with telepathically. This image appears as a spectral version of yourself and lasts until the end of your turn.

While you are using this spell, your physical body is unconscious and vulnerable. If your physical body is killed while you are astral projecting, your spirit cannot return to it, and you die.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the duration increases by 3 minutes for each slot level above 3rd.
