The caster targets a point they can see within range. As long as there are a minimum of 10 tiny, 5 small, 3 medium, 2 large, or 1 larger corpses within a 25 foot radius of that point, those remains will begin to move and swirl around that point, doing 1d4 damage to anyone in that 15 foot radius who fails a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw. The remains then coalesce at the point chosen and become an Undead Shambling Mound. The creature is not under the caster's control.
When the spell is cast at higher levels, the caster may choose an additional point in range for every two levels above 4th. The full spell effects occur centered on those points, provided the corpse requirement is met within the radius of each point. If any of the spheres of effect overlap the entire spell fails.
