You create a magical wax seal on an envelope or piece of parchment containing a written message. The parchment must be folded, rolled, or within a paper envelope, so that the message cannot be read without first opening the wax seal. As part of the casting of this spell, you specify a triggering condition, which can be as general or specific as you'd like. The wax seal cannot be opened before the trigger has occurred, and if the parchment or envelope is torn or destroyed, the message instantly disappears. The first time the triggering condition occurs, the wax seal splits open and the parchment magically opens to reveal its message, after which the wax seal loses its magic.
This spell is often used by nobles for wills and final commands, to be opened and read upon a noble's death; or by paranoid casters hoping to out-smart and out-plan for their own inevitable demises.
