Blood Debt Roulette is a spell that infuses the battlefield with the high stakes of a gambler's den, allowing you to offer your enemies a dangerous bargain. With your blood as the pact and the battlefield as the casino, you extend a metaphorical "loan" of power to your foes, enhancing their abilities temporarily but at a grave cost. This spell is not just a test of might but a gamble where the stakes are life itself, and the currency is blood.
-
Offering the Debt: Choose up to three enemies within range. These enemies are momentarily imbued with a surge of power, granting them advantage on all attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws for the duration of the spell. However, this power comes with a looming debt they must "repay" before the spell ends.
-
Repayment Terms: Each affected enemy must either deal damage equivalent to at least half their hit point maximum to you or your allies or sacrifice the same amount of their hit points as a blood offering to negate the debt before the spell's duration ends.
-
Cashing In: If the debt is not repaid by the end of the spell's duration, you can choose to "cash in" the debt. Doing so allows you to inflict a curse upon the indebted enemies, dealing 4d10 necrotic damage as you draw the owed life force to yourself. If this damage reduces an enemy to 0 hit points, you regain hit points equal to the damage dealt.
