Azuth's Scholarly Fire

Point wand, staff, blade, or any other weapon otherwise at the intended target(s). Azuth's symbol, the pointing index finger shining at the tip encompasses said weapon, and sprouting forth a beam of deep fiery crimson erupts at the target eventually forming into the shape of dragon with it's mouth agape. Upon impact (20 ft radius sphere centered on a point within range), the target(s) take 12D6 points of fire damage if fail DEX saving throw. On success, target(s) take half damage and do not catch ablaze, but upon failure the target's must use their their action at the end of their next turn to extinguish the flames or take an additional 4D6 fire damage. Repeat until fire is extinguished.
